Time Management and Productivity

Effectively managing time and tasks is a critical element of productivity in the modern lean organization. In this workshop, participants will learn how to manage their time, tasks and activities in order to more efficiently allocate resources and achieve their goals. Participants will learn sound time management practices that lead to increased productivity. They will discuss how to prioritize multiple concurrent and sometimes competing tasks, make the most of their workdays, and find balance between work and life. Participants will leave the workshop with a plan for managing their time in a more effective, efficient and meaningful way.

    • Sort- strategies to separate the important from the unnecessary so that participants will be able to sift through the possible many and clarify the vital few.

    • Straighten – methods to organize your time and tasks so that participants will be able to ensure that all the important elements have a place in their schedule.

    • Sweep and Shine – strategies for creating completion cycles and reviewing key activities to make sure they’re effective and efficient.

    • Standardize – developing processes, systems and improvement cycles to help participants work smarter and not harder.

    • Sustain – strategies to help change stick, how participants can take what they learned in the workshop and put it into practice.
